FOUNDER, HIKMA AI & CHIFAAAI ethicist, researcher and Arabic writer working on responsible AI, digital colonialism and Africa-led approaches to AI governance. Co-leads the "Whose Future? — Our Future" dialogue series.
Dr. Julia Stamm
PARTNER & ADVISOR — DECOLONIALITY, GENDER & AIFounder and CEO of She Shapes AI. Has founded and built four impact organisations and worked across European and international policy environments, including the European Commission and G20-related policy work. At HIKMA, she advises on decoloniality, gender and dialogue in AI, and co-leads "Whose Future? — Our Future" with Maha Jouini.

ADVISOR & AI ETHICIST — LEAD, HIKMA DIALOGUESPhD in Theological Ethics (University of Pretoria), examining the ethical implications of emerging technologies in African contexts through the lens of Ubuntu ethics. Academic and researcher at the University of South Africa, with nine peer-reviewed publications and 17+ conference presentations. Leads the HIKMA Dialogues series.

A North–South Dialogue on AI, Power and Possibility · Led by Maha Jouini & Dr. Julia Stamm
An intellectual dialogue exploring who gets to imagine, design, govern and benefit from our technological future. Bringing together perspectives from the Global South and Global North, the series examines AI through the lenses of power, knowledge, inequality, culture, philosophy and human experience — treating North and South not as homogeneous or opposing worlds, but as different histories and institutions in conversation.
The dialogue itself is the method. The future belongs to all of us — Our Future.
